A fuel tank swap, the cure for the common RS fuel cut.

The RS tank is notorious for fuel cut issues.  The basic idea is that when you are cornering, the fuel sloshes away for the fuel pump causing the fuel to cut out.  Obviously it is not good to starve your engine for fuel.  In the US for WRX/STI models after '02, Subaru added extra baffling around the fuel pump pick area to cure this.

Below is a picture a 2002 WRX gas tank a the extra baffling where the fuel pump assembly goes.

Here is your standard Walbro 255 lph fuel pmup and install kit.  Also pictured is a fuel pump assembly from an STI.  Note the inline fuel filter.

Here is the tank mostly buttoned up.

Here with the wires reattached.
